Market Research & Development, Inc. (MR&D) has served as a key planning and execution partner for the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Guam Post Industry Forum, a premier event bringing together government, military, and private sector stakeholders to support Guam’s strategic military buildup. Building on successful forums in 2018?, 2022?, and 2024.
MR&D provides end-to-end conference management services, including event planning, logistics coordination, marketing, sponsorship development, and on-site execution. Working closely with R!MS, SAME and key stakeholders, MR&D supports all phases of the event—from pre-forum planning and budgeting to venue coordination, audiovisual production, and post-event reporting. The team also manages registration systems, exhibitor and sponsor programs, and outreach efforts to maximize participation from local and off-island firms.
The forum serves as a critical platform to share updates on military construction initiatives, facilitate partnerships between contractors and local businesses, and address challenges impacting the execution of infrastructure projects across Guam and the region. MR&D’s responsibilities include coordinating speakers, managing program flow, overseeing trade show operations, and ensuring seamless attendee experiences across multi-day programming.
Through its continued involvement, MR&D has helped SAME strengthen engagement between industry and government, enhance the visibility of contracting opportunities, and support the organization’s mission to reinvest proceeds into student scholarships and workforce development initiatives.
