MR&D serves as a key research partner for the Guåhan 2050 Sustainability Plan (GSP2050), an initiative mandated by Public Law 35-110 to create a comprehensive roadmap for a sustainable and prosperous future for Guam. This landmark plan addresses critical needs such as affordable housing, clean water, reliable power, well-maintained infrastructure, and the preservation of Guam’s natural resources, culture, and vibrant village life.
MR&D’s role includes conducting public surveys, performing detailed survey analyses, and facilitating stakeholder engagement to ensure the plan aligns with the needs and priorities of Guam’s residents. Through our work, we provide actionable insights that guide the development of strategies for economic growth, environmental protection, cultural preservation, and public health and safety.
